MiniGP 3 Day School/Camp

What happens at MiniGP camp?
What a loaded question! Not only do we address the basics of motorcycle throttle and brake control, we also work heavily with each rider to understand what it is to control a motorcycle properly. We do this thru a combination of classroom sessions, paddock drills and on track performance reviews. We allow each student to grow at their own pace on small displacement motorcycles. Campers even have the opportunity to ride any of the MiniGP rental fleet bikes to best see which fits their needs.
Skills and theory taught at camp can be directly applied at any level on any size motorcycle. At MiniGP, we believe that riders learn the most when speed, weight, horsepower and competition are removed from the equation. It's at this point that riders can push their limits without consequence and measure results appropriately. Goals can only be achieved when set appropriately and the curriculum helps to define what it is each rider looks for from this sport.
The first two days of camp follow a full day's schedule of instruction, but at night the camp festivities continue with bar-b-ques, swimming and camping. The third day is an open practice day where campers get the red carpet treatment while they test their newfound skills with other riders on track.
The third day is included in the camp cost but all other attendees will need to register in order to participate.
Camp is designed for all ages and should be explored by anyone looking to be competitive in the sport of motorcycle racing. That being said, piloting a motorcycle doesn't always mean "racing". Riding in general is something that should be taken seriously and there's no better way to do that than at MiniGP Camp.
Note that an annual membership with MiniGP only costs $199 so it makes sense to get your membership early. We are certain you'll be back and discounts for members are deep at each event.
Campers should expect to arrive no later than 9am on the first day of camp and plan on staying the duration.
